News from Fenwick Parish church w/c 14/11/11

Fenwick Parish Church Notices - 18/11/11

A warm welcome is extended to everyone to join with us for Morning Worship at 10.30am, with the Sacrament of Baptism, New Beginnings.  The service will be conducted by Rev Geoff Redmayne.

Junior Church and YCam meet on Sunday mornings.   Our young people attend the first part of our worship and then leave to go to their own learning zones.  Come along and bring your friends.   The Creche is also available for our very young people.

We are looking for people to put the flowers in the Church for Sunday Services, anyone willing to help should contact Pat Parkin

The Scot's Night will be held on Saturday November 19 at 7.30pm in the Church Hall.   A meal with a Scottish flavour will be followed by entertainment by Borealis.   An evening not to be missed.  Tickets priced £12.50 from John Douglas (01560 600630)  Bring your own wine or soft drinks.

Messy Church is running in a variety of parishes around Scotland and is proving to be very successful at reaching families.  It is based around craft activities, food and lively worship.  We would like to think about running a Messy Church in Fenwick and anyone interested in helping should get in touch with Rev Geoff Redmayne.

The Covenanter Magazine is available online at www.covenanter.co.uk

Fenwick Church now has a Facebook page and can be followed by logging into www.facebook.com/FenwickPC

The Fulton Club meets on Wednesday afternoons in the Fulton Hall at 2pm.   Come along and enjoy a cuppa and a chat.  All over-60's welcome.

A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to the stall in support of Netherlee Cottage and the ongoing projects in Sri Lanka.   The total raised was £155 and this will benefit the people greatly.   The stall for Kenya will continue to run every Sunday in the Church Hall after Morning Worship.

If you have received a CD of Morning Worship, and still have the plastic cover, could you please return them to Kevin or John at Church, or to the person who delivers your CD.  This would be gratefully appreciated as these covers can be re-used.

All Church Intimations for the Kilmarnock Standard should be with Marilyn Morton on the Sunday prior to publication.
