News and service times over the Christmas periood at Fenwick Parish Church from Shona Crosbie

Fenwick Parish Church Notices - 23/12/11

A warm welcome is extended to everyone to join with us for all, or at least some of our Christmas Services,  which will be conducted by Rev Geoff Redmayne. 

December 22 at 7.30pm - Advent Evening Service - "Love and Light at Christmas" will be held in The Upper Room.   December 23 at 10am - Fenwick Primary School Christmas Service in the Parish Church.   December 24 at 7pm - Carols by Candlelight Service at 7pm, this will be a Service with a family feel.  11.30pm - The Watchnight Service.  Christmas Day Worship - Celebrating the Light will be a service for all of the family at 11.30am. Don't forget to bring your toys to this Service.

Junior Church and YCam meet on Sunday mornings.   Our young people attend the first part of our worship and then leave to go to their own learning zones.  Come along and bring your friends.   The Creche is also available for our very young people.

On behalf of Allies, a big thank you for the tremendous response to our Gift Service.  These gifts will be greatly appreciated by all who receive help and support from Allies.

A Christmas Messy Church will be held in the Howard Centre on Thursday December 22 from 5 - 7pm.  Dinner will be served between 5 and 5.40pm.  Arrival time is relaxed and families are welcome to come along as and when they can.  Crafts and activities run from 6pm until 6.45pm, when the evening will end with a short celebration.   Messy Church is running in a variety of parishes around Scotland and is proving to be very successful at reaching families.  It is based around craft activities, food and lively worship.  We would like to think about running a Messy Church in Fenwick and anyone interested in helping should get in touch with Rev Geoff Redmayne. 

If you know of anyone who is in Hospital, or someone who would benefit from a home visit from Geoff, or if you know of someone whom you would like the Prayer Chain to include in their prayers, please complete the card at the end of the pew and place it in the box on the Welcome Table on Sunday mornings.   Alternatively you can contact Geoff (visits) or Shona (Prayer Chain) directly.   All requests will be dealt with appropriately and sensitively.

If you have received a CD of Morning Worship, and still have the plastic cover, could you please return them to Kevin or John at Church, or to the person who delivers your CD.  This would be gratefully appreciated as these covers can be re-used.
