A warm welcome is extended to everyone to join us in Morning Worship on Sunday at 10.30am. The Service, which the first Sunday in Lent, will follow the theme "Prayer & Practice", and will be conducted by Mr Gerry McGeever.
Children of all ages are invited to join us on Sunday mornings. They are made very welcome in Church for the first part of the Service and then go to their various learning zones, Creche, Junior Church or YCam in the Church Hall for the remainder of the Service. Come along and bring your friends to join in the fun.
If you are interested in joining the Bible Study Group, please contact Stirling Grant on 01560 600422 to find out dates and venues, as they can vary from week to week. This group is open to all who wish to study the Bible and a warm welcome awaits anyone who may be interested.
Saturday February 25 is "Gift Day" to be held in the Church Halls from 10.30am to 12.30pm. The Minister and Finance Convenor will be available to discuss the current state of Church Finances and receive any additional gifts people are able to make. There will also be tea coffee and information stalls on Church activities.
Sundae Sunday will be held in The Church Hall on February 26 from 2 - 4pm. This is being run by the Mums and Toddlers as a fundraiser towards the travel costs of the Duff family. Their two and a half year old son Dylan, has to attend the Beatson in Glasgow everyday for six weeks for an aggressive course of radiotherapy. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
Also in the evening on Sunday 26 at 7pm there will be an Alpha Supper as a prelude to an Alpha Course starting in March. Anyone seeking to join the Church should plan to attend, as should anyone simply interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. Avril Murray is looking for spare wool so that she can knit small Easter items to sell for Church funds. If you have any to spare simply bring to church.
As with last year the Lenten Tuesday services will be replaced by Holy Week reflections - more details to follow.
Minister Visits/Prayer Chain. If you know of anyone who is in Hospital, or someone who would benefit from a home visit from Geoff, or, if you know of someone whom you would like the Prayer Chain to include in their prayers, please complete the cards in Church on a Sunday morning, or alternatively contact Geoff for visits or Shona for the Prayer Chain.
