On behalf of my ancesters pre 1840 may I thank the people of Fenwick for your care of the Graveyard. I am connected through my mother shown in the picture to Howatts, Calderwoods, Gemmills, Walkers, Gilmours, Wyllies, Langs, Andersons, Goods, and Boyds. None rich or famous. Most weavers and the odd Shoemaker, Smith, Quarry Men and Farm Labourers.

The visit to Ayrshire in May was delightful but there was one thing lacking - a lack of local history booklets maps etc. You have such a well documented Weavers Society, Old Parish Maps and Kirk Session Minutes. All of these could be sold in aid of local charities if transcribed and sold to Ancestry.com etc.

Just an idea! but it would be popular with the Canadian, New Zealand and American pioneer families of which there are many. Plus of course myself.
